Tesla Should Fear Xiaomi’s YU7 SUV

Chinese electric car manufacturer Xiaomi will debut the YU7 SUV to compete in China’s EV market. The business said that it would showcase the YU7 and its newest technical breakthroughs during a product event on Thursday.

The YU7 is Xiaomi’s reaction to Tesla’s Model Y, China’s best-selling electric SUV, according to experts. The tiny electric sport utility vehicle YU7 is anticipated to leverage on Xiaomi’s burgeoning EV reputation. The SU7 car, the company’s first EV, outsold Tesla’s Model 3 in monthly sales since December.

However, a tragic SU7 collision earlier this year has raised public criticism of Xiaomi.

Xiaomi has not released YU7 technical specs, but superior battery systems, contemporary safety measures, and extensive integration with its smart device and service ecosystem are expected.
